A Canadian man who called Banora Point home for the last few years, will be remembered at a run in Kingscliff tomorrow.
58-year-old Joe Kelly suffered serious head injuries during the storm-lashed Brisbane Twilight Running Festival in March.
He was hit by a falling tree branch, and died in hospital five days later.
“A lot of people will be running for Joe, a lot of people will be thinking of the people in Boston that lost their lives because of that unfortunate incident.”
Runners will meet in front of Salt Bar at 7:30.
