Remember those colourful koala sculptures that were dotted around the Coast a few weeks ago?
They’re going under the hammer tomorrow night to raise money for Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.
“We saw 300 koalas through the wildlife hospital last year and it’s a frightening number.”
The CEO saying he’d like to see the creations live on – as Commonwealth Games mascots.
“They did the kangaroo for Brisbane so why not the koala for the Commonwealth Games.”
