Three Mid North Coast councils will meet in Taree tomorrow, to discuss recommendations made in a recent report by the Independent Local Government Panel.
Mayors and general managers from Greater Taree, Great Lakes and Gloucester councils will be in attendance.
They’ll discuss several key recommendations, including merging Gloucester Council, as well as the formation of a regional ‘county council’.
A formal meeting with panel representatives will be held in Gloucester next week.
