FAIR WORK AUSTRALIA PROBE INTO COFFS RESTAURANTS
Ten restaurants and fast food outlets in Coffs Harbour are under investigation for allegedly underpaying their staff.
They were among 21 businesses, many employing foreign workers, audited by a team from Fair Work Australia.
A spokesperson says in one case a fast food worker was being paid just $9 an hour instead of the standard $17.50.
Two businesses have already been fined $350 and $110.
