HIGHLIGHTS: GREAT SCOTT BREAKS TWO AUSTRALIAN RECORDS IN ONE RUN

Hunter marathon runner Scott Westcott has defied the odds and Mother Nature to smash the Australian track record for 25 and 30 kilometres.
Starting out before sunset, Westcott had plenty of support, with fellow Novocastrian and former record holder Brian Morgan among the crowd.
With the wind howling, the 37-year-old chipped away at his task, setting the new mark for the 25k at less than 82 minutes.
As he approached the end of his 75-lap, 30k journey, Westcott was welcomed home by a guard of honour.
With both of his records broken, Morgan was one of the first to offer congratulations.
