Taste buds were tantalised as the region’s best local produce was on show at the annual Slice of Haven food and wine festival in Laurieton.
In its sixth year, an estimated 15,000 people crowded the river bank to experience what 78 stalls and businesses had to offer.
“There’s so much variety this year. We’ve got everything from your small sweet treats to stuff for the kids, right up to you’ve got your oysters, your fresh local prawns, you’ve got Greek this year as well, some yummy Thai.”
This year’s theme, Carnivale, proved popular with locals, as did the new addition of a cocktail arena.
