Former Newcastle Hunters mentor Darren Nicholls is considering a return to the Waratah Basketball League, after being approached by Maitland to take over the struggling Mustangs men’s team.
Coach David Richards resigned yesterday, with the side recording just one win from the opening 10 games.
Current player Luke Boyle will take charge of the Mustangs until a new coach is appointed.
