Art Gallery Foundation chairman Robert Henderson has questioned the merits of a delegation formed to ask the state government to provide $7-million for Newcastle’s Art Galley redevelopment.
The Lord Mayor of Newcastle didn’t attend, while Mr Henderson wasn’t invited, as promised.
A spokeswoman for Newcastle MP Tim Owen says he won’t comment yet on whether the talks succeeded.
The delegation did include council general manager, Ken Goldthorpe.
