The annual Kokoda Challenge in the Gold Coast Hinterland, has lured Gold Coast Titans’ Assistant Coach, Steve Murphy, to test his endurance on the gruelling 96 kilometre trek.
The event is held every year to raise money for returned servicemen and their families.
Murphy, his wife and two other family members will make up the four person team, and for the super fit Titans mentor, just finishing will be reward enough.
“Try and get through it, it’s a wonderful cause, and a great achievment for a family to do.”
The Challenge is held on the 13th and 14th of July.
