Southern Cross University student, Peni Tagive has won a full scholarship to play Gridiron at Baylor University in Texas.
The 24 year old former NRL winger will jet off to Waco next month to try his hand at the NFL.
Once labelled as the next Lote Tuquiri, Tagive began his NRL career at the West Tigers.
He was scouted by the university after impressing gridiron coaches in a You Tube film clip.
