A Black Uhlans bikie, accused of bashing a lifeguard at Burleigh beach, has turned on reporters outside the watch house.
Liborio Di Vita finally turned up to court today after a no-show yesterday.
His lawyer says he was violently ill with a stomach bug.
The sergeant-at-arms is accused of slapping and punching a 51-year old -ifeguard, before kicking sand in his face, after his girlfriend was asked to leave the flagged area with her dog.
“It seems that the case the prosecution is presenting isn’t in line with his version of events.”
He’s been granted bail and will return to court next month.
