Despite putting up a smorgasbord of big hits, the Northern Rivers Roller Derby team “Battlestar Girlacticas” have gone down to Newcastle’s “Dockyard Dames” 176 to 130 over the weekend.
While it wasn’t part of the local competition, the “friendly” bout was designed to give the local team an opportunity to hone their skills against a more experienced league.
