An emergency sand wall is standing firm against Mother Nature at Fingal.
High tides and big swell have depleted only some of the 800 cubic metre mound, moved in late last week to sure-up the surf club.
The popular beach can still be accessed from the northern end, while the viewing platform remains in place.
