Two Taree road racers are gearing up to compete in one of the most gruelling endurance races in the world – the Suzuka 8-hour in Japan.
20-year-old Josh Hook will compete for the first time, after spending the past six months concentrating on the Australian season.
Meanwhile 30-year-old Damian Cudlin will also contest the event with his team from BMW.
Both have arrived in Japan for two days of testing, with qualifying to get underway on July 27.
