It may be a day later than scheduled, but the Jack Newton Junior Golf championships are now underway in Coffs Harbour and Sawtell.
The competition has been shortened to a 54 hole challenge, which is being played by 300 golfers from across the country.
Last year’s champion, Shelley Shin, was among those teeing off this morning.
