He’s played a leading role in business for more than 40 years, now Newcastle Port Corporation chairman Paul Jeans is relishing his new role as the University of Newcastle’s Chancellor.
Mr Jeans says he’s particularly thrilled by the uni’s plans to help revitalise Newcastle’s CBD.
