The Tamworth International Eventing competition has gone from strength to strength with 241 starters this year, compared to the 180 who fronted up in 2012.
Contestants were eager to test out a course designed by an Olympian.
Beijing Silver Medallist Shane Rose assisted with the layout of the 2013 track.
As expected, it was a difficult course for the three star riders, with several taking a tumble.
While Rose’s class shone through, taking the win in the top division aboard Taurus.
It capped a successful weekend for him, as he also scored second in the three star, while he won the one star division.
