The Lismore Thistles have won a Football Far North Coast minor premiership for the first time in 21 years.
The undefeated side went into the game against Lennox Head full of confidences, but nerves started to grow as it remained scoreless throughout the first half.
It wasn’t until half way through the second half that the Thistles scored, to claim the win and the silverware.
And it was a double celebration for the club, which also took out the reserve division.
