MORE GOLD FOR MADDISON ELLIOTT AT THE WORLD CHAMPS

Hunter swimming sensation Maddison Elliott has won her second gold medal at the Paralympic World Championships, this time in the 50 freestyle.
It comes on the back of her victory in the 100-metres, in which the 14-year-old got the better of reigning paralympic champion, Jessica Long.
“I never thought I’d beat Jess Long, in any race, but I thought I’ll try my hardest and see what I get and so I’m happy with what I got.”
Elliott will fly back to Australia tomorrow and head straight to the national shortcourse titles in Sydney.
