BUMPER CROWDS AT THIS YEAR’S CATALINA FESTIVAL

Today’s Catalina Festival at Rathmines didn’t quite go off without a hitch – the star attraction only made an appearance from a distance, before mechanical issues forced it to make an emergency landing at Maitland.
Everything else went according to plan though, with incredible displays dazzling aviation enthusiasts.
The annual event drew a strong crowd – the warm weather, sending them looking for ways to cool down.
