A whale that cruised along the Newcastle’s coastline today created plenty of interest and gave a couple of surfers a yarn they’ll be telling to their grandkids in years to come.
The whale didn’t seem in any hurry to move on and appeared as curious about the surfers as they were of it.
The annual Humpback migration is now returning to the southern ocean, but this one was travelling north.
