A three week murder trial has begun in Newcastle’s Supreme Court, following the 2011 stabbing death of a Hunter Valley woman.
Jodi Jurd was stabbed 12 times in the bedroom of her Bellbird home by her former partner, who has since been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome and depression.
