Hunter skateboarder Poppy Olsen has won the Combi Pool Classic in California, her first event since turning professional.
Meanwhile her friend Jedd McKenzie has been enjoying plenty of success in Melbourne.
The 14-year-old won $3,000 at the Bowl Riot in St Kilda.
He backed that up at the weekend by winning the under-16 title at the King of Concrete in Noble Park, which earned him a spot at Bowlarama in Sydney on February 20.
