The ever-consistent Dan Frodsham has helped steer the Frenchman Boardriders to a win over North Shelley in Surfest’s first event – the Tag Team Challenge.
James McMoreland and Duncan McNichol helped reach a total of 38.61, and they survived by just two points.
Last year’s Indigenous Classic runner up Russell Maloney got the highest wave score of eight but it wasn’t enough for North Shelly in trying conditions.
