More funding promises from the Nationals’ candidate for Lyne, were announced in Port Macquarie today – this time for Green Army projects.
David Gillespie says the initiative will see teams of 10 young people undertake work to clean up riverbanks and re-vegetate sites at Kooloonbung Creek Reserve and Queens Lake.
The participants, aged 17-24, will be paid and gain training qualifications at the end of the six month period.
