Hunter Sports High has won a cliff hanger final in the Bill Turner football Trophy.
After an hour’s play both sides were scoreless, and the deadlock still wasn’t broken after 20-minutes of extra time.
It was this penalty kick from regular goal keeper Hannah Southwell that secured the local girls’ win over Sydney’s Westfields Sports High.
The final score 4 – 2 on penalties.
