A decision on a $100-million high rise for Newcastle East has been deferred and now hinges on three conditions.
The Joint Regional Planning Panel, held a public determination meeting in Newcastle on Thursday afternoon, 14-months after Keith Stronach submitted the development application with council.
The sticking points include traffic and pedestrian access, noise management and the general building envelope, leaving Mr Stronach to complete more studies and reports.
