He was supposed to be moving from Brisbane to Newcastle on a three year deal to be closer to family, but promising young Roar forward Dimi Petratos is now set to join Korean Club, Ulsan Hyundai.
Subject to passing a medical, the 24 year old has played for Brisbane for the last time and will transfer to his new club immediately.
Jets officials say the club will receive compensation, if the new deal goes ahead.
The situation does not affect Petratos’s brother, Kosta, who’s signed a one year deal with Newcastle.
