REPORT HIGHLIGHTS HOSPITALS’ PERFORMANCE

Manning Base Hospital’s emergency waiting times are better than the state average, according to new figures released by the Bureau of Health Information.
The latest report from June to April this year, shows 78 per cent of its patients are being treated within four hours.
Coffs Harbour improved its performance in the emergency department, while Port Macquarie Base Hospital met the timeframe with just 57 per cent of patients.
Port Macquarie did however, see an increase in the number of people being treated on time for elective surgery.
