A 46-year-old man has been charged, following an indecent assault on a intellectually disabled woman on a Maitland bus last week.
The incident allegedly occurred last Friday afternoon when the 29-year-old woman was travelling from Maitland to Rutherford.
It’s alleged the man indecently assaulted the woman in front of other passengers.
Police arrested the man yesterday at a Telarah home.
He was taken to Maitland Police Station and charged with committing an aggravated act of indecency and two counts of aggravated indecent assault.
He will face Maitland Local Court on October 8.
