A trough will move over us during Saturday the 14th. That will help with some cloud and shower development but it will be patchy. Afternoon storms will be possible for SE QLD and along the border towns and Ranges.
The whole system will clear from the west during the day as it moves east. Once it crosses the coast a low is going to form taking all of the inclement weather with it making for a mostly fine Sunday.
This developing system will make for variable winds moving from the north to the west and then to the south.
Mondays rain event is still on track with widespread falls affecting most of the broadcast area.
Conditions won’t be great for boating especially along the northern NSW coast due to gusty northerly winds and increased swell to the south.
For surfers you’ll have to hit the northern corners. Westerly winds will help clean up the waves for Hunter board riders.
