Robert Bretherton will spend at least 15 years behind bars for the murder of his former girlfriend Jodie Jurd.
Ms Jurd was stabbed 12 times at her Coalfields home in 2011 during a dispute over the couple’s assets.

Finally a decent sentence….though it could have been longer. The community gets tired of grubs like this getting off lightly. Good to see the magistrates doing their job protecting the community.
