Olympic gold medallists Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen still have plenty of work to do, if they’re going to defend their 49er world title in France.
The pair hasn’t raced together since the London games and is coming off a stint competing in the America’s Cup.
Outteridge and Jensen ended day two of the regatta in eighth, but a lack of breeze meant the 49er fleet was unable to race this morning.
Fellow Lake Macquarie sailor Haylee Outteridge – Nathan’s sister – was a big mover in the women’s event.
Sailing with Nina Curtis, she went from 36th to 17th on day three.
