Drew Russell has been the pick of our Hunter drivers in the Development Series at Bathurst this weekend.
In race one, he spent time off road but still edged into seventh.
Fellow Hunter driver Michael Hector did plenty of damage in this incident.
In race two, Drew was locked in a fierce battle with former Kurri kid, Casey Stoner.
Russell made a great pass to grab fourth .. a few laps later, Stoner took it back.
Aaren Russell was forced to battle from further back, but on lap seven he was squeezed into the sand and his race was over.
In the end, a Stoner mistake handed Drew another shot, and he capitalised, eventually grabbing fifth.
