The team from Mount Lewis has beaten Taren Point to take out the triples crown, as the New South Wales lawn bowls championships continued at East Maitland today.
Earlier in the day, the Taren Point trio of Reg McCulla, John Green and Wayne Turley outclassed the boys from Redhead.
John Roberts, Shannon Rowe and Marty Ball may have been playing closer to home, but their run ended in the semis, beaten 28-20.
In the end, Turley, Taren Point’s very own Commonwealth games gold medallist, closed out the match in style.
