Police believe a man and woman wanted on outstanding warrants could be in the Hunter region.
27-year-old Elika Asasi escaped from the custody of Corrective Services at Westmead Hospital on December 9.
31-year-old Christopher Szenczy is wanted over drug and property related offences and was seen driving away from Westmead Hospital in a vehicle with Elika.
Detectives are now working with officers from the Port Stephens-Hunter Police District, as police have received information that the man and woman may have travelled to the Hunter.
