Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is urging residents to support plans for a new inclusive play space in Westport Park.
A community fun day will be held on Saturday to officially launch the project.
Council has allocated $100,000 towards the replacement of the existing playground equipment, which will be transformed into a disability-friendly space.
$50,000 from the State Government will also be put towards the project.
If all goes to plan, the new playground will be ready mid-next year.
