WEATHER UPDATE: VERY WARM END TO JULY

Sydney is still on track to record its warmest July on record.

The Hunter saw another beautiful warm winters days today but increased cloud across northern NSW and SE QLD is spreading south to the Hunter building.

A trough is going to pass over the region tomorrow so increased moisture levels are going to help with further cloud formation to the point of scattered showers and light rain periods developing, mostly coming down about the ranges.

The passing trough is going to help form an offshore east coast low which will increase the swell later in the week.
