There was a shaky start to the Kirra Kite Festival today, but it wasn’t due to the rain.
Hundreds of kites struggled to take flight due to light winds.
Fortunately, a new program helped entertain spectators.
“We’ve worked really this year hard to extend the program this week so we’ve had a four day program and there is a lot more on offer.”
