The footage of the destructive storm in action was captured by chance, by two Lismore men.
Veteran storm chasers Michael Bath and Jason Paterson had been looking for hail, but found themselves capturing a twister spinning towards Guyra.
“…tornados in Australia are common but being witnessed and videod so to actually get the full footage it’s just we didn’t know what to say it was like WOW. We were hollaring and hooting and carrying on.”
It will be a tough act to follow for the pair, whose footage has already gone viral.
