Police say they’re concerned by a device that was left at Charlestown bus stop this afternoon.
Frederick Street was closed by police and a 100 metre exclusion zone set up outside Charlestown Square after a someone noticed the device around 1.30.
Police say the crudely made package was made to look threatening.
It was carried to nearby Charlestown Oval where it was X-rayed and deemed safe.
