People living with a disability in the Hunter are being assured the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme is happening as fast as it can.
Today, a Newcastle forum heard it will take six-years for the scheme to be rolled out nation-wide.
5,000 people will be part of the program in the Hunter.
