NEW SURROUNDINGS FOR SPINNER

Gunnedah cricketer Emily Leys will remain with the Sydney Sixers for this summer’s Womens Big Bash League, but another Northern Inland product has a new home.

After spending the first two seasons with the Sydney Thunder, Tamworth’s Erin Osborne has signed with the Melbourne Stars.

Having been the player of the final in the first year, Osborne’s new club will be hoping her experience will lead them to the finals for the first time.

The Stars open their account against the Sixers in Sydney, on December 9.
