Taking on European champions Belgium in Delhi last night, the Burras fell behind early.
The Aussies then levelled the scores midway through the second period.
After another goal each, it came down to a penalty shootout.
In the final shot, Belgium took more than eight seconds to score and that saw Australia declared the winner.
