A 61 year old man has been seriously injured after his leg was caught in the propeller of a boat, causing severe lacerations and groin injuries at Split Rock Dam, near Manilla this afternoon.
The Westpac helicopter was called shortly after 2:30 pm and air lifted the man to Tamworth Hospital.
He was rushed into surgery and is now in a stable condition.
