Broadmeadow has scored a much needed win, the Jaffas belted Adamstown and the Gunners beat the Roosters.
At Edgeworth, it was second versus third as the Eagles took on Hamilton, Olympic with an early chance.
The visitors hit the front midway through the half, with a Jacob Bailey header somehow finding the net.
The Eagles pushed forward searching for an equaliser, but too often their shots were high and wide.
In the end a late strike to Brody Taylor ensured the sides earned a point each.
