Whitby Street, Southport residents have been left stunned.
After learning an alleged murder had taken place in their street, five days ago.
Neighbours say, they often saw children at the home where a 40 year old man was found dead, last Wednesday.
“It’s shocking alright, but obviously they’re leading a life we don’t lead, and whatever’s involved, involved, but it’s too close, it’s terrible.”
Today, a 49 year old man- believed to be the victim’s flatmate- faced court, charged with murder and drug possession.
The court is yet to hear any details of the alleged crime.
The matter was adjourned.
