A domestic blew about taking long showers, ended with a stabbing, a court has heard.
22-year-old Matthew Chandler today avoided jail, despite stabbing his housemate three times in the back, puncturing his lung.
The attacker claims he reached for the steak knife while pinned to the wall during a struggle.
When sentencing Chandler to two years probation, the Magistrate took into account his remorse, but there was none expressed outside court.
“He’s a hard man to get along with, he likes to scream and holler and throw things and break things”
There was no conviction recorded, as Chandler claims he’s keen to join the defence force.
