Works forge on to fix Hunter’s flood damage

It’s the raft of measures protecting 250,000 people from flooding in the Hunter Valley and after five disasters in the last two years, it’s been left battered and bruised.

Now frantic efforts are underway to fix the $50-million in damage done to the area’s flood mitigation scheme, including the critical levee at Maitland.
