A driver has died in the state’s north west, in a collision with a truck.
Emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway between Baan Baa and Narrabri last night at about 10pm, where they found a car well alight.
The fire was extinguished but the sole occupant, whose age and sex is unknown, died at the scene.
The truck driver wasn’t injured.
